Our base on the Exeter Quay is a good place to start your canoe hire in the heart of
Exeter. Enjoy an easy paddle to Double Locks for lunch or head to Turf locks for a
full day out.
The meeting point is just opposite from Compass Quay, Maritime Court EX2 8GW
just over the first bridge.
Please click on the map to open a link to google maps. Parking is available all day for a reasonable cost at the overflow car park, at the back of Michael Browning Way. It is only 2 min walk to our base from here.
Additionally we offer guided trips along the River Exe taking in the sights of Topsham, the estuary and Exmouth. The wildlife along the way can be spectacular and you may even see a seal or two.

Our base at Turf Locks is a beautiful taking in the stunning views of the estuary. It's a great place to start your kayak or sup hire on the canal heading up the canal towards Exeter. Enjoy an easy paddle to Turf Locks and return ready for lunch or head to Double locks for a full day out.
The meeting point is just to the left of the turf locks as you cross the lock gates.
You can drive to Turf Locks car park and take a gentle walk to Kayakhub @ Turf, cycle to us or take a gentle walk from one of the two nearby car parks.
