How do we find you?
The nearest postcode to us is EX2 8DU. We are just across the road from the Canal Office over the first footbridge with easy access and good signage. You can also use Googlemaps to find us by typing Kayakhub Exeter onto the search box.
what do I wear?
Please wear clothing you don't mind potentially getting wet. Jeans, heavy woollen clothing or thick hoodies are not recommended.
will I get wet?
There is always a chance you may get wet. In a kayak you will get a wet bottom, on a SUP there is a chance if you are standing you may get wet by falling to and in a canoe you should stay dry.
Can I Bring my dog?
Yes absolutely you can bring your dog. Please ensure your dogs are well behaved and never tie them to the boats.
Can I leave my belongings?
Yes you can leave all your belongings either us in our container. It is recommended you take a phone in a dry bag (we can rent you one if you don't have your own) and have a means of telling the time.
DO I need to sign a waiver form?
Yf you are 17 years old or older you will need to sign a waiver for for yourself. If you are 16 and younger a waiver form will need to be signed by a parent or guardian. All participants need to have a waiver form signed before participating.
Where can I park?
There is no car parking on site however there is paid car parking a short 2-3 minute walk from us on Michael Browning Way.
how long does it take to get to double locks?
It will take you between 35-45 minutes to get to Double Locks depending on your paddling capabilities
how long does it take to get to turf locks?
It will take you between 2-2.5 hours to get to Turf Locks depending on your paddling capabilities. It is approximately a 5 mile paddle each way.
